It is thought that our universe is composed of atoms - collections of particles that form all that we see, and all we are.
But there is more to it. Those particles are manifestations of the waves of energy below our reality intersecting with each other. Like musical notes, they resonate, they harmonise, they clash with each other to become the symphony that is our cosmos.
We ourselves are not merely matter -- we are music. When we join together we become a song.
And if you get that song just right, you can change everything.
Lead singer and driving force of the band, Mic's sole focus is freeing his home planet from the clutches of the despotic Fuzbox and his Silencer army.
While reforming a pop group might not seem the most practical response to a galaxy wide invasion, he somehow makes it work.

Ami has rejoined Pop Galaxy to seek her missing brother. Capable and confident, her breezy nature masks a fierceness that quickly reveals itself when crossed.

We don't know who they are, or why they want to take over the galaxy and silence all forms of music, but they're clealry up to no good.
All music is under threat. The Silencers, mysterious invaders from another dimension, have begun their conquest of the cosmos with the sole purpose of silencing every musical instrument, every beaten rythm and every voice raised in song. In response, the greatest pop group in the galaxy decide to reform in order to inspire the planets to join together and fight back. The resistance begins here!
Pop Galaxy journey to the idyllic planet Reggae to warn of the encroaching Silencer menace. However, they soon discover that their message of impending doom is one that the prosperous, peace-loving inhabitants just do not want to hear. However, however, they find an unlikely ally in the planet's biggest killjoy - The V. Hon Justice Juice.
In a desperate bid to escape a fleet of Silencer fighters, the band fly the tourbus through a wormhole in space and are forced to land on planet Earth in 1957. After a less than warm welcome from the first human they encounter, they decide to diguise themselves as humans, and end up entering a rock and roll talent show. Oh, and they meet earth's first canine cosmonaut!

Fuzbox has a devious plan to wipe out Blues music forever, by changing the dark, drab and dusty planet Blues into a lush, sun soaked paradise and spreading joy across the globe. This leaves the the band with an ethical dilemma:
Is it right to deny the inhabitants a chance at happiness in order preserve their culture?
The gang find a Silencer surveillance device on the moon of planet Ska and decide to steal it. As they transport it to planet Techno for analysis, the device's defences kick in and our heroes are each imprisoned in their own ideas of heaven. Can they break free before the silencers track them down?

The capital city of planet Hip-Hop is devided by an ages old rivalry between the Stumpz and the Cheekz. So entrenched is this rivalry that they barely notice when when the Silencers install an occupying force. Once again Pop Galaxy decide meddle and see if they can persude the two factions to unite against a common enemy.
The gang journey to planet Karnatic on a journey of self discovery. They leave with a bunch of cheap souvenirs, mild to serious indigestion, and a sinister computer virus in the brain of Dolenz. Our heroes must embark on a virtual psychedelic voyage through the robot monkey's mind in order to save him.
Pop Galaxy track down their missing lead guitarist Fret to a Silencer base on planet Cajun. As they plot with the Cajun resistance on how to infiltrate the base and rescue their friend, we learn that Fret is no prisoner, but is there as a guest of Fuzbox himself. Fuzbox reveals to Fret that his motivation for conquering the galaxy is to save it from the disaster that destroyed his own dimension. Once the gang carry out their daring rescue attempt it becomes apparent that Fret doesn't want to be rescued.
